Chaplain Dan Hall
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Dan Hall, a pastor since 1982 and a chaplain since 1993, was married to his wife Valerie in 1974. They have eight children. Dan was born in south Minneapolis, attended Augsburg College, and worked in business before committing his life to Christian ministry.
As a self-supported minister, Dan’s focus has been on the importance of personal relationships while serving in organizational development and leadership. At the same time as leading a church, Dan was involved in the community as well as serving as a police reservist. In these involvements, he established personal relationships with government officials and emergency service providers. As he saw the unique personal needs and pressures faced by people in these positions, Dan developed a special compassion for ministering to them.
With over two decades of ministry experience, Dan established Midwest Chaplains to minister to the important needs of these leaders in key positions of influence. Dan’s biblical experience then led him to see prayer as the foundation for his ministry.
