Chaplain Dan Hall and Burnsville Police Chif Bob Hawkins
Chaplain Dan Hall and Burnsville Chief of Police Bob Hawkins

After twenty years of church ministry, Dan Hall saw the pressures faced by government and religious leaders. God called him to build on his years of experience by moving from the pastorate to ministering to leaders who are often outside the church. On October 1, 2001, Midwest Chaplains was established as a ministry to Police Officers, and community leaders.

After a few years, Chaplain Hall realized that he needed to duplicate himself and what he was doing as a chaplain, and started putting more time into training and establishing community chaplains.

As the work of this Christian ministry expands, Midwest Chaplains maintains its primary focus to encourage, counsel, and direct lives of those who are in crisis or trauma.
